The NSWBC awards are through self nomination only. Local Awards are submitted by members of the public nominating another business or individual. It's FREE to enter and you do not need to be a Griffith Business Chamber Member to enter.

The Outstanding Young Employee award recognises an inspirational young employee aged between 18-35 years. To enter into this award the individual must have been employed by their current employer for a minimum of 18 months at the time of entry.

LOCAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AWARD

Griffith Business Chamber together with The Area news are searching for a business who delivers outstanding customer service!

It's your chance to nominate a local business who you believe have superior customer service and is worthy to win such a prestigious award!

How to Nominate a Business?

Tell us in 200 words or less why and give examples to validate your reason.

How is the award Judged?

A confidential judging panel will assess entries and choose the top 15 finalists.

Nominations will be assessed based on quality, not necessarily based on quantity of nominations.

Once the finalists have been announced, members of the public will then have the chance to vote from the 15 finalists chosen to decide the winner. Voting will commence from Friday 4th May, closing on Friday May 11 to decide the overall winner.

Feedback collected will be passed onto the top 15 finalists for self evaluation after the awards program has been completed.

LOCAL BUSINESS PERSON OF THE YEAR

Do you know someone who has significantly contributed to the business community? Then here’s your chance to nominate them for their contribution, to hopefully win the prestigious award of Business Person of the Year. The award recognises the positive contribution made to business by business people and professionals.
The Business Person of the Year Award recognises individuals who demonstrate outstanding entrepreneurial spirit, strategic business direction and innovative ideas, whilst providing inspiration to a new generation of upcoming business leaders and are regarded as leaders in their field.
This Award also acknowledges and celebrates someone who displays a strong sense of community values and genuinely plays an active role in the economic drive of the Griffith Business Community.
Their personal and generous contribution, makes a difference to the local business community. Individuals nominated into this category can be self employed or employed by a business.
This is a nomination submitted by members of the public, who they believe is deserving of this prestigious award.

How to Nominate an Individual?
Nomination to include 500 words or less. Explaining the reasons why this person has had a significant contribution to the business community and give examples to validate your nomination. The award will be judged on the quality of the nomination and validity, not necessarily based on quantity. Please include first and last name, business name and describe the activities and initiatives they have undertaken to help the community (and or the business community).

How is this award judged?
A committee of individuals will evaluate nominations. Judges are confidential.
